日本年金機構は、年金の受け取り先を「MUFG Union Bank」に指定している方へと題して、下記内容を発表しました。
令和5年5月26日をもって「MUFG Union Bank」の個人口座が「U.S.Bank」に移管されたため、口座番号が変更されます。これにともない、年金の受け取り先を「MUFG Union Bank」に指定している方は、年金の受け取り先を変更する手続きが必要です。
変更手続きには、銀行名、口座番号の確認できる書類（口座証明、小切手帳のコピー、通帳のコピーなど）を添付のうえ、「年金の支払いを受ける者に関する事項（PDF）」をお早めに日本年金機構（下記の提出先）に提出してください。
なお、「MUFG Union Bank」の口座番号での年金の受け取りは本年8月までの予定ですので、10月支払以降の年金を受け取るためには、9月13日（水曜）まで（必着）にお手続きをお願いします。
Request to report us your bank account change for direct deposit : MUFG Union Bank acquisition and conversion of accounts
As you may have been already advised, following the acquisition of MUFG Union Bank, individual customer accounts were transferred to U.S. Bank as of May 26, 2023 (conversion of accounts.) In order to secure continuous direct deposit of Japanese pension benefits, we kindly ask you to report us your new U.S. Bank account details.
We can deposit your pension benefits to your MUFG Union Bank account in August. However, in order for you to receive benefits in October and afterwards, you need to report us your new bank account details by Wednesday, September 13, 2023 (we need to receive your report by the date.)
Please complete form “Pension Recipient’s Direct Deposit Details： For confirmation / changes of bank account（PDF）” and send it to us (as shown on the address below.) You need to enclose documents to support the bank name and your account number, such as photocopy of your bank note or statement.
